This weekend saw the Bennetts British Superbike Championship setup camp at the historic Donington Park, nestled in the rolling hills of Derbyshire. It’s a special place not only for the LAMI OMG Racing crew, being our ‘home’ track, but for Kyle Ryde, who cut his teeth here as a youngster, having grown up just a few miles away. We were determined to put on a show for the thousands that came to support us, and Kyle would not disappoint.
“It’s been a mega weekend for me and the team. Bagging 2 wins at my home & favourite track in front of my family and friends was a weekend I’ll never forget. Unfortunate about the tip off in Race 2 while leading, but Ryan picked up his first podium in the meantime to add to his great weekend back.
“I just want to thank the team for fixing bike and getting it ready for Race 3-everything went perfect all weekend. I can’t wait for Knockhill!”
